Based out of Portland, Oregon, Times Infinity is the sonic delirium of five good buddies. The scrump-rock quintet’s sound is shifty, moving unapologetically from jangly, guitar-driven anthems to sparse and spooky orchestral arrangements to all-out fuzz fests. Running through it all is a thread of DIY pluck that keeps even the most otherworldly jams grounded in the basement. Times Infinity is a perfect distillation of the group’s previous bands, Elkteeth and Porches, a marriage of psychedelics, bar rock, bedroom pop and inventive tinkering.

Times Infinity released their self-titled debut in 2016, marking a return to the music scene after Porches dissolved in 2015. The band followed up with the six-song doomsday EP, Party to Extinction, in 2018 and toured the west coast in support of the release before heading back to the laptop to record their next LP.

Boy on Horse is a labor of love recorded throughout 2019 and early 2020. With a nearly complete recording in their hands, the pandemic dashed the group’s plan for a 2020 release and sent the band into a musical lockdown. But you can’t keep the boy off the horse. In 2024, Boy on Horse was mastered and pressed to vinyl. The album will hit the airwaves in winter 2024.
